Prosser Wine and Food Fair

Nearly 3500 wine enthusiasts gather for an afternoon of fine wine and local food specialties on August 14, 2010 from 2-8 pm. Two bands will entertain you all day as you sample wine from 30 Washington wineries, food from 20 local food vendors and beer from 2 local breweries. Prosser Wine and Food Fair is located at WSU Prosser on Bunn Road. Tickets will be available May1. Tickets are $20 for presale and $25 the day of the event. Ellensburg Wine Festival

Central Washington University World Wine Program and the Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce invite you to join dozens of great Washington wineries in a celebration of the myriad of varieties and styles of wine from all corners of the state. Several venues in the historic downtown Ellensburg area will host wineries, wine lovers and musicians at this “instant classic” event. In only our first year, the Ellensburg Wine Festival was names as one of the 10 “Can’t Miss” events in Washington Wine by a prominent wine publication.

Join us for an afternoon of wine, music, shopping and downtown fun in Central Washington. Each winery will pour 2-3 wines and many venues will also have appetizers available to our guests. We look forward to seeing yout there. May 8th, 2010 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Tickets are $30.00 and include a commerative glass along with 10 tasting scrip. Must be 21 or older to participate and all guests will be I.D. checked.

Join us as we experiment in matching a variety of wines with different cheeses. Does that wine go with a hard or soft cheese? Italian, French of Spanish cheese? Come find out as we travel through the culinary world of wine and cheese!

The program is open to anyone who is interested in the exciting world of wine and is 21 years of age or older.
