Back when I was bartending and hating my life, a customer once told me of his business plan he was launching and how he got to that consensus. He said he made a list of the three he things he loved and wanted to do with his life most. The third one he scratched off from the get-go. Looking at the top two routes he wanted to take to his final destination, he said he made his second one his job and his first his hobby. Taking that advice in stride, here I am two years later, working in the wine industry and writing about food and wine. Not sure which of my two great loves are my job or my hobby and I don't intend to figure it out any time soon.
