I do not know about other people but the best red wine I've ever had was in South Italy. The region is called Puglia and I went with 2 friends in the countryside where we were told that the best wine cellars are located. And there they were buried underground, the cellars were hiding from the viewer's eye, nose and mouth the best red wine ever tasted.

"A good writer shows, he doesn't tell" and you've described the Woodinville Wine experience wonderfully, Dave. Keep up this great service to the community. I'm a new reader and am eager to explore your site.

As owner of Woodinville Wine Cellars, I appreciate your nod to Sean as fit for future ownership. Hopefully soon he will experience "the agony and the ecstasy" of owning a winery. He has truly earned his place as a premier winemaker with his selfless devotion to the craft.

Also, rarely acknowledged for her selfless winery contributions is Sean's 100% biggest fan and devoted spouse, Kristin Jostad. The age-old saying still rings true, "behind every good man..."
